Great Taste provides star-studded line-up at Camp Kerala

Camp Kerala

Guests at this year’s Camp Kerala can look forward to a stellar line-up in the boutique campsite’s restaurant and bar, with Great Taste award-winning products playing a strong role on the menu. Camp Kerala is renowned for its commitment to exceptional quality and style, making the Guild of Fine Food’s Great Taste award-winners right at home around the campfire.

Celebrating its 10 year anniversary later this month, Camp Kerala will be serving 15 Great Taste award-winning products to its residents, sourced from Somerset, Dorset and beyond. Camp Kerala guests will be able to start their day with breakfast courtesy of Dorset Cereals and Blackacre Farm Eggs, while producers such as Stream Farm, Olives Et Al and Bath Harvest Rapeseed Oil will also be on show throughout the week.

For an encore, Camp Kerala’s cheeseboard will include Godminster, Barber’s and Bath Soft Cheese, whose Bath Blue was also crowned World Champion Cheese at the Guild of Fine Food’s World Cheese Awards 2014, with Sheppy’s Cider on hand to wash it all down.

The prevalence of Great Taste stars at Camp Kerala 2015 is testament to the opportunities created by success at the world’s most coveted fine food and drink awards, which has been championing the very best in the industry for the past 21 years. Whether the product receives a 1-star, 2-star or 3-star accolade, this recognised seal of approval brings significant benefits to producers, including increased sales and brand awareness through the extensive consumer and trade promotion carried out by the Guild of Fine Food.

Freya Broughton from Camp Kerala, explains;

“When providing the ultimate in luxury outdoor accommodation, quality is absolutely paramount, so the Guild of Fine Food’s support has been invaluable this year. The Great Taste stars are a coveted stamp of excellence and having so many award-winning products on our menu helps to ensure that our guests have an unrivalled experience from start to finish.”
