Robun presents first Japanese whisky masterclass with Nikka Whisky Distilling Co.
Bath-based Japanese restaurant, Robun is set to host its first whisky masterclass with Nikka Whisky Distilling Co on Thursday 22 September from 7:30pm – 9:30pm. Taking a journey from the floral aromas of Nikka Days to the peaty and smoky Single Malt Yoichi, whisky connoisseurs and beginners will have the chance to taste six expressions from the Tokyo-based distillery.
Joe Prout, speciality brands whisky ambassador from Nikka Whisky, which has been producing whisky in Japan for 88 years, will lead the masterclass. Joe will deliver a potted history of Japanese whisky during the tasting, while a selection of zensai (appetisers) will be provided by Robun head chef, Jon Claro.
Tickets cost £45 per head, including a welcome drink, zensai and the sampling of six whiskies, and can be bought online at robun-events.giftpro.co.uk/events/whisky-masterclass-with-nikka-whisky-distilling-co. Whisky masterclass attendees will be able to enjoy 25% off their dinner in the restaurant on the day of the event. All attendees must be 18 or over.
