Robun rolls-out new lunch menus
Bath-based Japanese restaurant, Robun has announced the launch of two new menus, bringing fresh lunch options to the city throughout the week.
The Lunch at Robun menu, served from Tuesday-Saturday, introduces both Ramen and Bento Boxes for the first time. With Beef Miso, Grilled Chicken, Braised Pork Miso and Seafood to choose from, the Ramen menu provides a range of hearty, fresh and healthy options for shoppers, tourists and those on lunch breaks.
Taking inspiration from Japan’s iconic single-portion boxed lunches, a symbol of Japanese culture and ideals with balanced nutrition at its core, the brand new Bento Box selection gives daytime diners the opportunity to sample dishes from across Robun’s menu of yakiniku, sushi and sashimi. Beautifully presented in traditional wooden boxes, Meat, Seafood and Vegetable options are available, all served with Miso Soup, Steamed Rice, Wakame Salad and Japanese Pickles.
For Sundays, head chef, Jon Claro has created a menu with the whole family in mind, inviting all generations to experience fresh and faultlessly prepared Japanese cuisine. Priced at £30 per person, the Sunday at Robun menu offers five sharing plates to start, featuring Chicken Gyoza and Salmon Hosomaki, followed by a choice of mains including Wagyu Rump Steak and Kimchee Chicken, with Mochi Ice Cream and a Fresh Fruit Platter for dessert.
Children can eat for just £7.50 at Robun on Sundays, with the new Kids Sunday Lunch menu. Featuring a Sushi Selection, Chicken Karaage, Mochi Ice Cream and a Fresh Fruit Platter, Robun can feed hungry minds and bellies with something altogether different to the standard Sunday lunch.
The Lunch at Robun menu is available Tuesday-Saturday from midday until 5pm, while the Sunday at Robun menu is served all day on Sundays, from midday until late. Diners can book by visiting www.robun.co.uk, emailing info@robun.co.uk or phoning 01225 614 424.
