Healthy helping of innovation at Harrogate Fine Food Show 2016

Harrogate

Registration is now open for deli, farm shop, café and garden centre owners, along with chefs, publicans, hoteliers and restaurateurs, to visit the Guild of Fine Food’s Harrogate Fine Food Show, which returns to the Yorkshire Event Centre on Sunday 19 June from 11am – 4pm and Monday 20 June from 9:30am – 4pm.

From fermented Kombucha tea and naturally flavoured ice cream to vegetable crisps and Greek honey, the trade-only exhibition, which attracts more than 1,000 visitors each year, promises to give food and drink buyers a first-glimpse of many innovative products that have never before been seen at a trade show, helping them explore new ideas and refresh their offering.

As well as discovering emerging food and drink trends, meeting fellow producers and sampling brand new products, visitors will have the chance to join a number of free tastings, workshops and discussions in the Guild of Fine Food’s FineFoodLive! theatre. The line-up includes a social media surgery hosted by Brilliant Social Media and a showcase of the UK’s best charcuterie products hosted by Nigel Barden with chef Simon Woods and Colin Woodall of Woodalls. Consultant, chef and TV cook, Stephanie Moon, will also give a Real Takeaway Food cookery demonstration on how to turn leftovers and short-shelf life products into delicious dishes that can be sold to customers.

Throughout the two days, visitors will be able to attend a Meet the Buyer event, in association with Deliciously Yorkshire, get useful tips and advice about maximising festive sales at the three-hour Cracking Christmas workshop and watch food and drink entrepreneurs pitch to big-name food buyers, from the likes of Selfridges, Harrods and Fenwicks of Newcastle, in the ever-popular Feed the Dragon live sessions.

Trade visitors can register now for their FREE Harrogate Fine Food Show tickets at www.gff.co.uk/shows/harrogate.
